Thursday, October 24th
Pre-make up day.  This will be the make- up day in advance.  In case we have bad weather or I have to take a day off.

Friday, October 25th
Our next field trip we will be going to The Treehouse Museum in Ogden. Our tour starts at 10:00 but it takes about 20 minutes to drive and I would like to be there a few minutes early so I will be leaving here at 9:25  (please be here by 9:15.)  If you are planning on meeting us there please let me know. The planned activities take until about 11:30 so we should be returning to the school around 12:00.  The activities include a Puppet Participatory story activity as well as exploration time in the museum.

They have asked that we have at least 1 adult for every 5 children. If you would like to come with us, help drive and be a chaperone please let me know. The cost is $3.75 per child.  I will cover the cost of my students and all adults are free.  If you would like to bring any younger siblings you will be responsible to cover their cost of $3.75. (Any younger than 1 are free)  I need to know by Tuesday, October 22nd  if you would like to come and if you are bringing any other children.  . In order to get the $3.75 discount for your children or to be considered a chaperone you must stay with our group.  If you plan on touring the museum away from the group you are required to pay the regular fee.  Please be aware that they do not allow strollers in the museum.

This is a great time to wear the Little Tiger Preschool t-shirts. If you would like to purchase one, they are $8.

Thursday, October 31st
Halloween Party -  Children may come to school at 9:00 dressed in costume.  During our party the children may want to remove their costumes, so please, either put clothes under their costume or send an extra pair of clothing with them to school.  We will be playing Halloween games, making a Halloween craft, eating yummy Halloween snack and participating in a trick-or-treat activity. (Please send enough treats for 14 children so that your child can give one treat to each of the students.  Don’t forget to send one for your child too.  They really feel left out if they don’t get one from everyone.)  Weather permitting… we will end with a parade outside in the back yard, where you make take pictures and then the children will be dismissed to go home. We will be outside for the parade beginning about 11:00.

If you would like to help with the Halloween party please let me know.  You can bring some games to share, a craft or just show up and help.  Let me know ASAP so I can begin planning.
